Second wide-body aircraft of NAC arrives at TIA
KATHMANDU, July 26: The second wide-body aircraft A330-200 of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Thursday morning.
The Aircraft named Makalu with the registration mark 9N-ALZ touched down at TIA runway at 9 am.
The new aircraft, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines, consists features a two-class cabin configuration and seats a total of 274 passengers (18 in business class).
The aircraft by the Airbus Company was built in Toulouse city of France. It took nine hours to reach Kathmandu from France.
The aircraft was welcomed by officials of the NAC and the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
The NAC had brought its first wide body aircraft in Kathmandu on June 28.
