Development, prosperity major mandate: Spokesperson Shrestha

BARDIBAS, July 28: Spokesperson of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said the major mandate of the country at present were development and prosperity.

Addressing the district level cadres meeting at Jaleshwor on Saturday, Spokesperson Shrestha said the contribution from all sides should be directed to country’s development and prosperity. He informed that the basic levels of the party would be unified soon.

“Identify Madhes agenda and prod the federal, provincial and local governments for address,” Shrestha urged the party cadres, arguing that if the NCP became able to address the issues of Madhes people, it would be  huge success.

According to the Spokesperson, most of the Madhes agenda related to politics and opportunity had become the national agenda. If the campaign of development and prosperity is begun from Madhes, it would achieve bigger results, he argued.

Time has come for the party to bring change in people’s lives, as the party has dominated the national politics.

He urged the main opposition not to create hurdles but to play a creative role. RSS
