Dipendra Kandel Initiative invited to observe Zimbabwe elections 

KATHMANDU, July 30: Dipendra Kandel Initiative has been invited to observe the Harmonized Election 2018 Zimbabwe. Initiative has sent the president Mr. Dipendra Kandel and Executive director Mrs. Shanta Sharma to participate.

Following the invitation of the Ministry Of foreign affairs of Zimbabwe to see the transparency of the polling and counting process, Dipendra Kandel Initiative has shown an interest to work with the Zimbabwe government and the first step is to know how the leaders are selected from the election, Shanta Sharma said.
“Election has started at 6 am and it will continue till 7 pm. We have found the Election is conducting in a peaceful environment,” Kandel said.
He claims that this is the first time in the history of election of the world where the think tank people are observing the election. And this is the first step to take before starting the cooperation with the government.
