Time to devote to nation building: Minister Baskota

BANEPA, Aug 11: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota has said that time has come for all to devote to nation building.

During a press conference organized by Kavre Chapter of FNJ, Singapore Red Cross and Prarambha, a Lalitpur-based organization, on Saturday, Minister Baskota argued that concerted efforts were imperative to check poverty for prosperity in the country.

The program was organized to distribute first aid materials.
He urged both national and foreign donors to assist from their levels to materialize Nepal’s prosperity dream.

On the occasion, former Minister for State for Energy, Surya Man Dong, pointed out the need to reach the health aid materials to the remote villages rather the city areas.

Similarly, Secretary at Finance Ministry, Rajan Khanal, viewed the first aid, though small, was related to life and therefore carries meaning.

As many as 2600 sets of first aid kit were distributed to various municipalities of the district at the program. RSS
