Nagpanchami observed (Photo features)

KATHMANDU, August 16: Nag Panchami festival is being observed across the nation today.

The festival falls on the fifth day of the bright half of the Nepali month of Shrawan as per the lunar calendar.

On this day, devotees pasted a picture of the Naga or the snake god above the main door of the house and offered worship to the serpent deity.

Worshippers at Nagpokhari, Kathmandu celebrated Naag Panchami.
