Myanmar’s Prez Myint in Kathmandu (In Photos)

KATHMANDU, August 28:  President of Myanamar Win Myint has arrived in Kathmandu on Tuesday to participate in the fourth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) scheduled for August 30-31.

President Myint was received by Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Ishwor Pokharel at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

On the occasion, a contingent of Nepal Army presented a guard of honour to the Myanmar President. Nepali Ambassador for Myanmar, Bhim K Udas, the Myanmar’s Ambassador for Nepal and senior officers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed him on the occasion.
