Bangladeshi Prime Minister Hasina in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Aug 30:  Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, has arrived this morning to participate in the Fourth Summit meeting of Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Ishwar Pokharel received her at the VVIP lounge of Tribhuvan International Airport. A contingent of the Nepalese Army presented a guard of honor to the Bangladeshi special dignitary.

Chief of Protocol Deepak Adhikari, Bangladesh’s ambassador to Nepal Mashfee Binte Shams and Nepal’s ambassador to Bangladesh, Chopalal Bhusal also welcomed the Bangladeshi Prime Minister at the airport.
