National team returns home

KATHMANDU, Sept 13: The national team today returned home from participating in the ongoing SAFF Championship 2018 in Bangladesh.

The squad landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport at 11:30 am. Maldives sent the team packing by beating it 3-0 in the semifinals. In the group phase, Nepal registered great wins against Bangladesh and Bhutan, but conceded a defeat to Pakistan.

Office bearers of the All Nepal Football Association and football enthusiasts reached the airport to welcome the arriving team. RSS
