United Nations USG calls on PM Oli
Kathmandu, Nov 15 : Visiting UN Under-Secretary General Amina J Mohammed paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the latter’s official residence, Baluwatar this evening.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister appreciated the UN’s support in Nepal’s development, peace and prosperity.
On the occasion, the UN Under-Secretary General lauded Nepal’s effort to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals while expressing the UN’s readiness to support the priority areas of the Nepal government, according to the PM’s foreign affairs advisor Dr Rajan Bhattarai.
The UN USG arrived in Kathmandu today to attend the 6th World Assembly of the Global Campaign for Education starting here tomorrow. (RSS)
