Child dies after being hit by tipper truck in Bharatpur

Chitwan, Nov 18 : A child was killed after being hit by a tipper truck at Brahmadev Chowk in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-6 in Chitwan today.

The deceased has been identified as Ahil of the Municipality-15, four-year-old child of Mahammad Alam. The accident occurred when the truck (Na 5 Kha 6998) collided head on with the bicycle Mahammad was riding on which Ahil was a pillion passenger.

Ahil died on the way to a hospital, said the police. Mahammad was unhurt in the accident however. The police have taken under control the tipper driver along with the vehicle. (RSS)
