Dang bus accident death toll climbs to 23

Dang, Dec 22 : The death toll from the bus accident at Ramri of Tulsipur sub metropolis-3 on Friday has reached 23 with the death of Birendra Kandara, 20, of Kankasundari rural municipality-5, Jumla.

According to Bel Bahadur Pandey, a resident of Dang, Kandara breathed his last in course of treatment at Nepalgunj Nursing Home this morning.

Meanwhile, identities of more six dead have been ascertained. They are Kusum Rawal, 16, of Chandannath-6, Jumla; Atish Nepali, 17, of Bheri municipality, Jajarkot; Khem Raj Bhatta, 17, of Krishnapur-5, Kanchanpur; Hikmat Bohara, 19, of Chandannath-3, Jumla; Kabita Khatri, 21, of Babai rural municipality-5, Dang; and Shailaja Shahi, 17, of Hima rural municipality-5, Jumla. (RSS)
