Nation achieves prosperity in a speedy manner : PM Oli



Kathmandu, Dec 28 : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has opined for developing the nation maintaining the good governance.

While addressing the third Labour Parliament of the Joint Trade Union Coordination Centre (JTUCC) here in the capital on Friday, Prime Minister Oli committed to lead the nation on the way to prosperity after controlling the corruption surfacing in various sectors in the country.

PM Oli said that the nation achieves prosperity in a speedy manner and materializes the slogan of Prosperous Nepal: Happy Nepali. He argued that the government spent time to enact laws and completed the law making courses and will orient towards development in the days ahead.

Prime Minister Oli further noted that the government was working to meet the aspiration of working class people and it was always positive to enhance their livelihood.

He also said that the government has started a new contribution-based social security scheme in the country and it will be beneficial to workers.

Similarly, Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista, said that the government is forwarding the programme to change the livelihood of working class people.

He expressed the view that the government was effortful to transform the life of workers by amending and formulating laws related to labour.

Likewise, former Chairperson of General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT), Bishnu Rimal, stressed that all trade unions should play active roles for effective implementation of social security scheme ensuring the social security to each worker.

JTUCC was established with an objective of protecting and promoting welfare of workers, collaborating among Federation of Trade Union and developing common concept on the issue of workers by maintaining unity.

There is a provision of holding trade union conference in every three years and meeting of Labour Parliament at the end of December every year. RSS
