BP Memorial should provide quality health services: Ex President Yadav
Kathmandu, Jan 5 : Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has opined that the hospital established in the memory of Nepal’s first people-elected Prime Minister BP Koirala should provide competitive health service.
At a function organized to mark the 11th anniversary of Bashundhara-based BP Memorial Hospital here today,Dr Yadav said the hospital should manage specialized services equipping it with the advanced equipments targeting the people of low income.
Also speaking on the same occasion, NC leaders and former Deputy Prime Minister duo Bimalendra Nidhi and Gopal Man Shrestha also said the hospital should orient towards service motif instead of profit.
Similarly NC leaders Arjun Narsing KC and Bipin Koirala expressed their confidence that the hospital would stand as an exemplary health facility in the capital in terms of providing quality health services to the commoners.
Hospital management committee chair Dr Kedar Narshing KC shared that the hospital had provided health services to around 800,000 people last year and has targeted to reach health services to the people of remote areas through health camps.(RSS)
