Govt to enhance modern agriculture system: Minister Khanal

BARDIBAS, Jan 27: Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Chakrapani Khanal, has said that the federal government was committed to enhancing modern agricultural system to benefit the people.

Minister Khanal, who arrived here for feasibility study of establishing Agriculture Market and Agriculture Promotion Center at Bardibas municipality of Mahottari district, said that the government was working to modernize the agro sectors to increase the products in the country.

Saying the government has decided to establish wholesale agriculture markets in all seven provinces, he said different tasks including selection of places and making detailed project report were underway for the same.

Arrangement of irrigation, fertilizer, guarantee of market would be made in order to increase agriculture productions.

Meanwhile, Minister Khanal also visited Natural Resource Management College at Barbibas-6 today itself. RSS
