One injured during military free fall during Army Day Celebration

KATHMANDU, March 4: A military person was injured while parachuting during the Army Day celebration on Monday.

Purna Bahadur Bhandari lost balance of his parachute while demonstrating high altitude high opening military free fall technique and crash landed in Tundikhel due to technical error.

He was immediately rushed to trauma center Bir hospital, according to Nepal Army Spokesperson Yam Prasad Dhakal. He sustained injuries on his head and other body parts.
