KATHMANDU, March 28: As many as 81,077 aspirant workers have registered their application until yesterday, to attend the Korean language test 2019.
About 55,997 have applied for production and 25,080 for the agriculture sector, according to the Employment Permit System (EPS) Korea department. The deadline for submitting the application is March 31 until midnight.
A total of 82,264 aspirants had applied for EPS Korea language test in 2018. The number was 68,383 in 2017 and 60,626 in 2016. The application was opened on March 22.
After the result, the applicants who pass the test will go through skills and competency test in the second round before being selected for Korea.
The language test will be conducted on June 8 and June 9 this year. The time and center for the language test will be published on June 2. The result of the language test will be published on June 28.
The Korean government is likely to recruit around 10,050 Nepali workers in 2019.
