Lawmakers need Rs 100 million each to fulfill people’s aspirations: Rayamajhi
KATHMANDU, May 3: Ruling party Nepal Communist Party lawmaker Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has argued that the government should distribute every lawmaker Rs 100 million each in order to fulfill the aspirations of the people.
“The representatives can complete the projects in their respective constituencies on their own. The people also want the same,” he said talking to Rishi Dhamala at a radio program Nepali Bahas on Friday.
“But the government should first bring laws that would stop the abuse of the money before distributing them to the lawmakers,” added Rayamajhi.
According to him the government’s policies and programs for the fiscal year 2019/20 should include all the 77 districts of the country.
“The policies and programs should meet people’s mandates,” he said.
The government is presenting its policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year today.
He also said that the party is preparing to form politburo soon.
