Oli cabinet reshuffle

KATHMANDU, June 26: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Raghubir Mahaseth has clarified that there is no possibility of cabinet reshuffle anytime soon.

“Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli and Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal are discussing the possibilities of cabinet reshuffle. But it’s not going to happen immediately,” said Mahaseth while speaking at an interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal on Wednesday.

“It’s up to the prime minister. He can make changes whenever he wants,” he added.

Mahaseth also expressed confidence that the agreement reached between then UML and Maoist Center will be implemented.

“But, what I have understood is that PM Oli will head the government for the full five-year term,” he added.

He further said that the reports and criticisms that the government has failed to do anything as per the expectation of the people have made him sad.

“The government took the first year of its tenure as the foundation year. Development and prosperity are not achieved overnight. With the budget implementation, the development works will gain momentum,” he said.
