Oman extends technical help to improve road and infrastructure
OMAN: Nepalese Ambassador to Oman her Excellency Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal met with the Honourable Minister of Transport Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammad of the Sultanate of Oman on the 30th of October 2019 at the latter’s office.
The meeting was cordial and both the dignitaries indulged in discussing ways to improve the infrastructure and roads of Nepal and to engage in best practices while implementing said development projects.
During the meeting, Ambassador Dhakal spoke in praise of the infrastructure and quality of roads in Oman. The Minister, in turn, shared experiences, strategies toward developing infrastructure and roadways in an efficient manner.
The Minister also agreed to extend technical cooperation through the exchange of teams as proposed by the Nepalese Ambassador and explore other opportunities to enhance the transport facilities of Nepal. The meeting was said to be cordial and extremely successful which would add on to the bilateral ties between the two countries.
