President Bhandari sacks all seven governors

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has sacked the governors of all seven provinces on Sunday.

“As per the decision made by the cabinet meeting held on November 3, 2019, the President, based on the Article 165 (1) B of the Constitution of Nepal, releases the governors of all seven provinces from their duties,” reads a press release issued by the Office of President on Sunday.
