High School shooting in the US leaves multiple injured and three critical



CALIFORNIA Nov 14: Shooting was reported at 8 am in Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County. Sheriff Alex Villanueva has informed that the suspect is in custody and undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

Multiple injuries have been reported along with three of them severely critical.

Taking to twitter the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s office tweeted “This is an active shooter situation, if you live in neighborhoods anywhere near Saugus High, PLEASE LOCK DOORS and stay inside. If you see suspect, male dark clothing, in backyards, etc. CALL 911″.

The tweet further said, “Parents, deputies are on the scene everywhere protecting your children”.

The school is currently on lockdown and all the other neighboring elementary schools and all of the schools in the William S. Hart Union High School District, officials said.

According to White House spokesman Judd Deere, “President Donald Trump is monitoring reports on the incident.

Footages of the incident show students coming out with their hands raised and being escorted by the deputies. They were then transferred and taken by armed deputies to a nearby park to be reunited with their parents.
