Shiva Kumar Mandal of CPN (Maoist Center) has been elected the member of House of Representatives from Morang-5. Mandal defeated Nepali Congress candidate Amrit Aryal.
Supplies Minister Shiva Kumar Mandal has said the government was alert on the smooth supply of essential commodities during the Dashain, Tihar and Chhath festivals.
