Kathmandu, April 29: Caravan actor Thinley’s final riters was performed as per Buddhist tradition in Teku today.
Home Minster Shakti Basnet offered final tributes. PM KP Oli was scheduled to pay tribute on behalf of the government, but Basnet took the role as PM changed his plans.
Thinley was travelling horseback when he fell off a cliff on Sunday. He was a well-respected citizen and social worker of Upper Dolpa, but was mostly known across Nepal and internationally for his acting in ‘Caravan’ directed by French Director Eric Valli.
