Nepal’s municipality gets rid of dogs, pigs by poisoning them
Gaighat: The menace created by stray dogs and pigs in different Wards of the Triyuga Municipality has subsided after the municipality started killing such animals.
The municipal authorities were compelled to launch the campaign of killing such animals after the number of stray dogs and pigs increased drastically in the town and started troubling the people, said Khilaraj Rai, the Chief Executive Officer of Triyuga Municipality.
The Municipality started killing the stray dogs and pigs by giving them poisoned meat and fodder.
The population of stray dogs and pigs shot up especially in Gaighat Bazaar, Bokse Bazaar, Jaljale, Deuri Bazaar, Rajabas and Chuhade areas in the town. RSS
