Seven fire engines in service in the Kathmandu Valley and local water tankers are being used for putting out the fire. The Armed Police Force and Nepal Police personnel have also been mobilized for bringing the fire under control.
It is not known how the fire started. However, a security guard at the company said the fire started from a heap of old cartons kept towards the south corner of the factory. Another staff with the company said that the fire started in course of wiring works.
