Dhading bus accident kills 4, injures 34
KATHMANDU: Atleast four passengers lost their lives and 34 co passengers were injured when a passenger bus sheered off the road in Dhading district on Friday.
The bus enrolee to Kathmandu from Birgunj skidded some 50 meters down the road and fell on the banks of Trishuli river, instantly killing four of the passengers.
The accident took place at along the Prithvi Highway at Pida VDC – 2, Ghatbesi in Dhading along the Prithvi Highway on Friday morning.
Identities of three victims have been identified as Raju (driver of the bus), Mukhiya Thakur (32) of Motihari of India, Urmila Devi Singh of Baishali of India. Identification of one of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Injureds have been receiving treatment at the Gajuri hospital, police informed.
