Nepal-America Press Club to award Nepali journalists, media

NEW YORK: Nepal-America Press Club, an organization of US-based Nepali journalists, has announced to award Nepali journalists, publication houses and electronic media from ‘International Nepali Media Award-2013’ for their free, fair and independent news dissemination to the commoners.

The organization established some four years ago for improving professionalism and safeguarding rights of Nepali journalists is going to organize this program for the first time.

The Club will provide award to journalists and media houses disseminating news in the field of peace, development, human rights, women and child right, environment and energy, education, economic and business, sports, cinema, arts and music, political and contemporary issues, investigation, law and justice, tourism and other beats.

The program would be held in Washington DC of United States.
