Fire guts property worth 1.5 million to cinder

CHITWAN: Property worth around Rs 15 million was gutted in a fire that broke out at a grocery at Bhandara-1 in eastern Chitwan last night.

According to the police, property worth Rs 15 million was gutted after Bhandara-1 based Baba Grocery Wholesale Shop was caught the fire. The fire also destroyed the house along with the shop. According to Sub-Inspector Lokendra Malla three fire engines, police personnel and locals brought the fire under control after four hours.
