Shakya reelected chief of Nepa: Party

KATHMANDU: The ongoing first general convention of the Nepa Rastriya Party concluded today by reelecting incumbent chairman Dr Keshav Man Shakya. Mr Shakya will head the 46-member new working committee of the party.

The general convention started on Friday has also approved people’s nationalism, five geographical provinces and 16 ethnic states as the form of governance.

Dr Shakya said the party would call the central committee meeting soon and distribute portfolios to the leaders.

Similarly, the party has decided to join hand with other parties for secularism, republican, federalism, inclusive state and for social justice.
