Valley witnesses rainfall

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley and some other parts of the country witnessed slight rainfall on Tuesday, thanks to active westerly wind. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the capital city recorded 1.4 mm rainfall while Birendranagar recorded a maximum of 16.9 mm rainfall. Officials at the Division said that rainfall throughout the day are likely on Tuesday.

Likewise, other western districts of the country have also witnessed rainfall on Tuesday afternoon.
