PM residing in Bankariya settlement

HETAUDA: Nepal’s Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai is residing in the settlement of Bankariya, a very backward community in Twangra of Handikhola VDC in Makwanpur district.

As per the regular programme of spending a night among the people every month, Bhattarai will spend this night at the settlement of the backward minority community, located some 15 kilometers from Hetauda municipality. The Bankariyas are living a semi-nomadic life and relying on wild edibles.
