Legal practitioner moves court against CJ-led government

KATHMANDU: A writ petition has been filed at the Apex Court against the possibilities of formation of the CJ-led election government. Major political parties in principle have agreed to form the CJ-led government to hold the CA elections by mid-June.

Legal practitioner Bharat Janghum has filed the writ stating that the forming the CJ-led government would challenge the constitutionalism and principle of power separations. Janghum has also demanded that the writ be given a preferential right for issuing a stay order.
