‘CJ-led government is President’s proposal’

DAMAULI: Nepali Congress Vice-president Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the parties floated the proposal for the Chief Justice-led election government as no other options were seen to end the protraced political deadlock.

Speaking at an interaction program organized by Reporters Club, Tanahun chapter, on Saturday, Poudel said country was facing present political crisis due to politicians’ failure to offer concrete decision while the Constituent Assembly was in place.

Poudel also revealed that formation of the CJ-led government was the proposal of the President. Poudel also shrugged off that why UML leaders including Madhav Kumar Nepal were protesting the CJ-led government despite he himself claimed that CJ-led poll government was his proposal.
