Nepalis in Kuwait form two organizations including CPN-Maoist alignedNepali People’s Progressive Front
KUWAIT CITY: Nepalis living in Kuwait have formed the Nepal Kuwait Manakamana Welfare Trust on Friday aiming to help Nepalis living in Kuwait.
Raju Bhattarai is the chair while Prem Gurung and Bhawani Khulal are the vice-chairs of the newly formed trust.
Similarly, Gyanendra Gurung has been appointed secretary and Shuva Phurwa Tamang is the joint-secretary. Likewise, Yam Prasad Timilsina and Ram Kumar Lama are treasurer and joint-treasurer respectively.
Yek Raj Lama, Shankar Poudel, Resham Gautam, Hukum Shahi, Rom Bahadur Dhakal and Nityananda Subedi are the members of the trust.
Over three dozen Nepalis organizations including social, political, cultural, religious and others have been established in Kuwait city so far.
Meanwhile, Nepali People’s Progressive Front, a sister organization of CPN-Maoist, has been formed under the chairmanship of Rajan Ghimire on Friday. A gathering of Nepalis affiliated to CPN-Maoist held under the coordination of Dipak Bista formed the 15-member committee.
Harka Singh Angbo and Masta BK were appointed vice-chairmen while Dipak Bista was appointed the secretary of the team.
