PM Bhattarai establishes revolving fund under mother’s name

KATHMANDU: On the occasion of the International Workers Women’s Day, Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has established a revolving fund in Dilli Bazaar Kanya Campus under his mother’s name, Dharma Kumar Bhattarai.

At a program organized in Prime Minister’s Official residence, Dr Bhattarai handed over the amount to the campus officials this morning from his personal purse.

The Prime Minister said he established the revolving fund to provide scholarships to the girls from the woman teachers to abolish illiteracy from the country saying that he was also trained by the women teachers as his mother was also illiterate.
