This government will not be totalitarian, Sushil says
BIRATNAGAR: Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala who cautiously agreed on the CJ-led government today defended the Nepal’s Interim Election Council arguing that totalitarianism would not come as rumored after the formation of the CJ-led government.
“Totalitarianism could come had the Maoist remained at the helm of power,” he claimed. Such situation would not come as the Chairman of the Interim Election Council Khil Raj Regmi firmly believes in rule of law.
“We took political risk hoping timely CA election. We were in favor of the CA elections after ousting the Bhattarai-led government,” Koirala told journalists here this morning.
