Attorney General Pradhan resigns
KATHMANDU: Nepal’s attorney general Mukti Narayan Pradhan, who was appointed to the post after the formation of the Baburam Bhattarai-led government, resigned on Friday from the post citing government change.
“I tendered my resignation for well smoothing of the CJ-led government as Dr Baburam Bhattarai who appointed me is no longer in the post,” Pradhan said. The attorney general is regarded as the legal advisor of the government.
