Prachanda rules out November elections if denied in June
KATHMANDU: UCPN Maoist leader Puspa Kamal Dahal has ruled out elections in November if political parties failed to hold them in June as agreed earlier.
Addressing a party meet in Dhading on Sunday, Prachanda accused Nepali Congress and CPN UML of conspiring to postpone the elections as their party cadres were entering his party.
Stating that his party will again rise as a major political force through the upcoming CA elections, he warned that his party will not remain silent if conspiracies to postpone June elections were continued.
On the occasion, he slammed the Election Commissioners and said that he was shocked by the recent denial to hold elections in June as they had promised earlier.
