NC Mahasamiti Meeting concludes
KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress Mahasamiti Meeting held at Trivenidham in Nawalparasi district is concluded today by approving 16-point political proposal.
In its proposal, the NC has termed the upcoming CA polls as decisive step for the party.
The NC has also formed a nine-member panel to prepare a report by incorporating the suggestions offered by the Mahasamiti Members. Party Vice-chairman Ram Chandra Poudel is leading the panel.
Earlier, the cadres had given suggestions in eight different topics to the party leadership where the NC cadres have suggested the party leadership to go for 7-province model in the federalism based on viability and identity, a same rhetoric discussed earlier.
Similarly, the NC has demanded the government scrapped all the political appointments made by erstwhile Bhattarai-led government claiming that that would challenge the free and fair elections.
