Dacoit dies in a clash with Rautahat police

RAUTAHAT: A dacoit was murdered in a clash with the police in Rautahat district on Saturday.

A member of the armed gang from India that had entered into Banjaraha VDC-8 in the district died after the police opened fire. Police have not identified the dead so far. Police said that an armed gang of 10-12 Indian dacoits had opened fire when the police attempted to encircle them.

Superintendent of Police Govinda Ram Pariyar said police opened 11 rounds of fires against the armed gang.
