CANADA: Nepalis living in different parts of Tonoto in Canada have marked Nepali New Year 2070 BS organizing a cultural program. At the program organized by Nepalis Community Network of Canada (NCNC) a large number of Nepalis were present to exchange New Year greetings.
Chairperson of NCNC Bal Chandra Shrestha said the present community was responsible to preserve Nepali arts and cultures.
On the occasion, Nepali Counsellor to Toronto Dr Kunjar Sharma, NRNA Canada Vice-chairperson Giri Prasad Budhathoki, NCNC Director Bishnu Parajuli, Sherpa Association Chairperson Angbaru Sherpa, General Secretary of Newa: Guthi Association Canada Bimal Man Shrestha and Chairman of Magar Association of Canada Hem Thapa Magar, among others expressed thier opinions for the preservation of Nepali arts and cultures.
Similarly, different organizations of Nepalis in Canada have also marked the New Year 2070 BS with great fun and happiness sharing thier joys and happiness.
