Two dead in Chitwan collapse mound incident

CHITWAN: Two persons died in a sand mound collapse incident in Chitwan district while extracting soil from a canal.

Police identified the deceased as Jona Ghimire,20, and Nuharmiya Ansari,18, of Surkhet district. They were currently living at Barhaghare in Chitwan district. Critically hurt in the incident, the two died while receiving treatment at Bharatpur Hospital on Wednesday night, police said.
