Syangjali in Hong Kong organizing volleyball competition on May 1

HONGKONG: The Syangja Janasewa Samiti, Hong Kong, organized a gathering on 20 April in Chautari Club.

The meeting was organized to exchange greetings on the occasion of Nepali New Year and discuss the preparations on the upcoming events of the Samiti. The Samiti is organizing Sixth Open Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Competition on May 1, 2013.

During the program, Chairman of Syangja Janasewa Samiti, Hong Kong, Komal Kanchha Gurung, chairman of NRN Hong Kong Durga Gurung, Coordinator of NRN Asia Pacific Trilok (Yam) Gurung, Vice President of Phedikhola Samaj Man Kaji Ghale and secretary of Adhikhola Sports Club Kumar Gurung, among others were present at the meeting.

On the occasion, the organizers of the sports tournament had fundraised to make the sports program a success.

The organizers had collected some 25,000 US Dollars funds during the program including 3000 US dollars from Komal Kanchha and 2500 US dollars from Trilok Gurung, a resident of Syangja, Phedikhola.
