Passenger bus accident injures 25 in Eastern Nepal

GAUSHALA: At least 25 people have been injured when a bus (Na. 4 Kha.6165) heading to Rautahat from Janakpur carrying members of a marriage procession hit a stationary truck (Na. 3 Kha.2406) at Basantachowk on Thursday evening.

Among the injured, Ram Talewar Yadav of Chandra Nigahapur-2 and Ram Dev Das of Pipara Rajwas are in a critical condition, according to Bhishma Humagain, Inspector at Area Police Office Bardibas.

The injured are undergoing treatment at different hospitals and clinics in Bardibas, said police.

The bus and bus driver have been taken under control by police for further investigation, said Inspector Humagain.
