‘CA polls by mid-December’

DHANGADHI: Nepali Congress General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula has said that election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) will be held by mid-December at any cost.

Speaking at a news conference organized at Dhangadhi today, Sitaula said that the country could not sustain the crises if CA election was not held by mid-December.

Stating that the incumbent government was formed to hold the election, he said there will be a special role of political parties rather than that of the government to create suitable environment with an objective of holding CA election by mid-December.
He claimed that all political parties will participate in the election as discussion with fringe parties is underway to hold the election.

Sitaula also accused the Chairman of the UCPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal attempting to capture the state power by violating the 12-point agreement, thereby hindering the constitution promulgation.
