Actor Arjun Karki scales Mt. Everest
SOLUKHUMBU: Nepali film actor Arjun Karki and national marathon runner Sanjya Pandey have successfully climbed the world’s tallest peak Mount Everest on Monday.
They stepped on the top of the peak at 7:30 this morning, said their team’s liaison officer Ongchhu Sherpa.
They have already returned to the camp- 4 now. Actor Karki was earlier dragged into controversy for climbing the peak on permission for expedition’s high altitude worker.
Altogether 41 people including 14 foreigners, 25 Nepali Sherpas and one player climbed Mt. Everest from the group coordinated by Seven Summits.
