Teen raped in Siraha district

SIRAHA: A 13-year-old girl was raped in Siraha district.

Police have arrested Suresh Yadav, 33, of Chikana VDC on the charge of raping the girl while she was working alone in the field on Monday evening.

The crime came to light after the girl informed her parents about the incident. The girl’s parents then reported it to the Area Police Office, Kalyanpur.

The girl has been taken to the District Hospital Siraha for medical check-up.
