‘UCPN (Maoist), Madhesis parties are against CA poll’

DHANGADHI: CPN-UML Vice-chairman Bamdev Gautam has said that the UCPN (Maoist) and Madhes-based political parties were against the CA poll in a real sense though they make lip service.

Speaking at a program here today, Gautam however claimed that the UML has already begun nationwide election campaign.

He suspected that conspiracy was being hatched not to allow the CA election to take place as the major parties including the Nepali Congress, UCPN (Maoist) and other parties are yet to reach the villages with their election campaign.

The UML Vice-chair said that there was no guarantee that the CA election s would take place through a new government if the incumbent government failed to hold the election in November.
