Nepalis working in Dubai restaurant collect Rs 29,500 relief amount for Mahakali flood victims
DHANGADHI: Nepalis restaurant workers in Dubai of the United Arab Emirates have collected Rs 29,500 in aid of the flood-affected people of Darchula district.
Thirty-six Nepalis migrant workers employed at the Chinese Village Restaurant in Dubai collected the amount at the initiatives of Prayag Raj Bhandari. Bhandari is from Malakheti, Kailali district.
The amount was handed over to Assistant Regional Administrator of the Far-West Region Dinesh Kumar Ghimire.
The donation was received through the Kailali district reporter of Kantipur Television, Tek Raj Joshi.
Flood in the Mahakali River on June 16 and 17 triggered by incessant rains caused heavy damage in Khalanga Bazaar in Darchula district.
