Driver dies after taxi falls off Dhobikhola

KATHMANDU: A taxi driver has died after his taxi fell off the Dhobi Khola near Bijulibazaar bridge this morning.

The driver is Indra Bahadur Sarki, 29, of Bhirkot-5, Dolakha, according to the Metropolitan Police Sector, Singha Durbar.

His taxi was found after accident in front of the Head Office of the Kist Bank, Hanumansthan near Babarmahal.

Police suspect that the taxi might have met with accident last night. The body has been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for postmortem and investigation into the case is underway, said police.
